I shop both locations in a regular basis- (literally every two weeks for dog food and treats). I went in yesterday afternoon & could not locate the treats I normally buy. Upon asking the guy behind the counter, I got the vibe I was bothering him by being there and talking to him. He told me he believed the brand I was looking for was down aisle 2, but didn’t think you carried anything like that. Not sure if he’s new or what, but I would like someone to step away from the desk and help me look for something when I ask for help. I continued to walk around in circles until I finally found what I was looking for (they changed the packaging on the treats). Then to make it better, I went up to the counter and was expecting my free bag of dog food because they have told me the last TWO times that my NEXT bag would be free. Apparently not- he made me pay for it and said the NEXT one was free. Not sure what’s going on and idk why I’m so bothered about this interaction to be still thinking about it the next day- but I love these stores bc everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I will stop using this location if the Nola hospitality declines.

J, the very helpful employee most of the time I go in is beyond helpful and surprisingly very knowledgeable of all the products. And if she doesn’t, she makes sure to find out while I’m at the store. Employees like her are to be treasured and rewarded during this era of poor customer service. If I needed help at my company, I’d hire J in a heartbeat. Thanks J for the time and advice every time. Have an amazing year.

My car died right across the street. I was able to get bully sticks to occupy the bored dogs. Plus they had water for the pups too!

Very nice staff, helped me find a harness for my new Shepard and even took it back after she wore it and slipped it after one day. Amazing selection of cat toys! Stop supporting big companies if you live near magazine please support this local business, we love our furry friends and this store will have what every you are looking for for at least dogs and cats! Again really nice staff!
